SDG 15 aims to protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation and biodiversity loss.

​

Humans depend on earth and the ocean to live. This goal aims at securing sustainable livelihoods that will be enjoyed for generations to come. 

​

Forests cover 30 per cent of the Earth’s surface and they are the key to combating climate change, protecting biodiversity and the homes of the indigenous population.

Project GOAL provides an opportunity for young people from all over the world to take part in fulfilling its purpose of empowering young citizens through sustainable development goals.
