We want everyone to get the most out of this community, so we ask that you please read and follow these guidelines:
1. Welcome new members. When newcomers arrive, say "hi" and welcome them. Help new folks "learn the ropes" about how to find information and resources, save time, and how to get involved. You will also find a lot of help using the forums themselves.
2. Use descriptive titles for new posts. Avoid "generic" post subjects like "Help" or "Question". You will receive a better response to your posts by being more descriptive about the content of your post.
3. Don't be afraid to share. If you're not sure about what SDG goal you want to choose, share that hesitation to others. We need you to communicate your aspirations about sustainability in its broadest sense.
4. Keep an eye open for new, interesting topics. Before starting a new topic, please check if there is already a topic open on the subject. If so, contribute to it there.
5. Donโt challenge or attack others. The discussions on the forum are meant to stimulate conversation, not to create contention. You have every right to disagree with your fellow members and explain your perspective. However, you are not free to attack, degrade, insult, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community.
6. State concisely and clearly the topic of your comments in the subject line. This allows members to respond more appropriately to your posting and makes it easier for members to search the archives by subject.
7. Do not post โoffensiveโ posts, links or images. You will be immediately banned from the forum. Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures.
8. Lastly, enjoy the experience. The purpose of this forum is for interested parties to share their ideas and aspirations toward the 17 SDGs and their application to the community. Do not hesitate on joining the conversation and remember to have fun!
